Chapter 6 Summary

Threats.  Threats are scary to think about, and everyone can relate to feeling threatened one way or another, and not just in real life.  There are a lot of potential hazards on the Internet, and even I am a little worried about them.  I cannot say too much because it might clue some people in on what my usernames and passwords potentially are.

I have known about encryption for a while, but I have never used it.  There used to be assets from a game locked behind encrypted files that could only be opened with a key, which I did not have.  It was probably out of concern of their assets being stolen at the time, which is understandable as they were of high quality.  However, the time came around where the owners of the assets stopped keeping them behind encryption and allowed the assets to be decompiled without the need for a key to decrypt them.
