Chapter 1 Summary

Oh, wow, the U.S. actually has a Copyright site?  That’s interesting, but it does not seem relevant to what I am learning.

When it comes to web browsers, the one I will use really depends on where and when I am doing something.  Most of the time, I use the browser that coordinates with the operating system I am using.  However, when I am doing my own stuff at home, I use Google Chrome despite using a Windows laptop, which is manufactured by Microsoft, whose browser is Edge.  The only other times I will use Chrome besides on my laptop is if I am in CIS-110 class even though the computers there are Windows machines, because the teacher has recommended it for the sake of using Blackboard Learn, and when I am with the LIU program (which is rarely ever), since the instructors want the students to use Google products.

I already knew browser customization was a thing.  In fact, I frequently customize my browsers to be dark mode with green trim whenever possible.
